Republican Senate candidate from Alabama Judge Roy Moore says the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade “is not established precedent.”

At a rally in Fairhope, Alabama, Tuesday night, Roy Moore said, “I have said very clearly, Roe v. Wade is not established precedent. It’s a violation of the Constitution. I will never backtrack on that.”

“If we can’t defend the most innocent lives in our country, then we can’t do anything,” the former state Supreme Court Chief Justice added. “And we’re seeing millions of Americans killed because of abortion.”

Moore’s views on abortion are the polar opposite of those of his opponent, Democrat Doug Jones, who said he is “not in favor of anything that is going to infringe on a woman’s right and her freedom to choose.” full story
