California Bill: 1 Year in Jail for Using Wrong Transgender Pronoun

by JOEL B. POLLAK

A new bill being considered by the California State Senate would punish people who “willfully and repeatedly” refuse “to use a transgender resident’s preferred name or pronouns” in a public health, retirement or housing institution.

The bill, SB 219, was proposed by State Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco). It includes several other provisions that require a health facility, for example, to honor the gender identity of a patient, meaning that the patient must be admitted to a room that comports with his or her chosen gender; allowed to use whatever bathroom he or she wants to use; and wear whatever clothing or cosmetics he or she decides to wear. It has gone through several amendments.

CBN News notes: “Fines for repeat offenders could be as high as $1,000 and a jail term of up to a year.” full story

So answer this test. Does the same penalty apply if I get called the wrong surname, or perhaps in the wrong order? Why do queers have more rights than NORMAL people? This is strictly an unconstitutional protection given to a class of people who are completely undeserving of it. In the same way, we have given reverse discrimination against whites legitimacy instead of actual equality among races. I am not responsible if people choose not to hire people who remain uneducated and innately bigoted. The fact that they have a different skin color is immaterial and should never be a hiring qualifier. The media and the education system have given blacks a great disservice by allowing them to be uncriticized for so long. If you can’t get your lazy butt out of bed for a paying job, you don’t get to claim welfare or any other public handout. Same thing applies toi the homosexual population. TFB, the only “victim” you are is the one you make for yourself!
