In an effort to bring home the remains of Staff Sgt. Oron Shaul and Lt. Hadar Goldin, two IDF soldiers who died in Gaza, as well as two Israeli citizens, Israel has said that it will no longer return the bodies of Hamas terrorists who are killed while carrying out attacks. “The political-security cabinet discussed standing policy on treatment of the bodies of Hamas terrorists killed during terror attacks and decided that they will not be returned, but will be buried,” read a statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.
The decision was made after Hamas released a video of a fake birthday party for Sgt. Oron Shaul, one of the IDF soldiers who died in the 2014 Gaza War.

Although Israel in convinced that Shaul and Goldin are dead, Hamas has not yet confirmed whether or not the soldiers were killed.
