VIDEO: Woman Hit Football Star and He Hit Back, Who’s At Fault?

In a 2014 video that a court has ruled be released to the public, Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon is seen being pushed and then struck in the face by a woman. He then unleashes a massive punch to her face, knocking her to the ground. The hit shattered four bones in her face. She is seen limp on the ground in the video.

Mixon had to complete 100 hours of community service and behavioral counseling. The University of Oklahoma suspended him from football for the 2014 season. He was reinstated in 2015 and will be on the field for the 2017 Sugar Bowl on January 2.

Mixon apologized for his actions in November. The victim claims she has been harassed and targeted by Oklahoma fans. She filed a civil lawsuit against Mixon in July. A video of the incident can be seen below. Watch and comment below.

Social media has exploded with comments and opinions on who is guilty in the video. Some claim that Mixon should be in jail and say that if he wasn’t a football player that he would be. Others say that she struck first and, therefore, Mixon was in the right to hit back. Here are some comments from Facebook:
